Wondering What’s Happening at Seminole Square? Big Updates Are Underway

Wondering What’s Happening at Seminole Square?

If you’ve noticed construction activity or visual changes around Seminole Square, you’re not alone. The Seminole Square renovation is officially underway, marking the first phase of major updates to the shopping center.

Overall, these updates aim to refresh the look of the center while also improving comfort and accessibility for shoppers.

What to Expect During the Seminole Square Renovation

During this phase, construction teams are actively updating the exterior façade across the shopping center. Rather than keeping the older design, the project introduces a more modern and cohesive look.

Specifically, the updated façade features:

  • Natural stone
  • Brick
  • Stucco
  • Siding
  • Metal awnings

As a result, these materials add texture, warmth, and visual interest while still preserving the welcoming feel Seminole Square is known for.

Next, Covered Walkways Will Improve Comfort

In addition to the new façade, the project extends the building fronts to fully cover the sidewalks throughout the center. This change creates continuous covered walkways for visitors.

Because of this improvement, shoppers will enjoy better protection from sun and rain while moving between stores. Ultimately, this makes visits more comfortable year-round.

Now, Here’s What to Expect Next

Currently, construction crews are focused on the central wing of Seminole Square. The team expects to complete this portion of the project later this spring.

Afterward, work will continue into the north wing, where the same updates will extend across the rest of the center. In this way, the renovation will create a more consistent look throughout Seminole Square.

Looking Ahead

As construction continues, we’re excited to see these improvements come together. More importantly, these updates reflect a long-term investment in the shopping experience for our community.

While construction continues, many of the shops and restaurants listed in our Store Directory remain open and ready to welcome visitors.

Thank you for your patience during construction, and be sure to check back soon for future updates and progress photos.
